What was this project about?
Three interns (including myself) working at Eastern Technical High School researched Design Thinking, created and implemented a Design Thinking lesson, and created and enacted a professional development presentation for teachers and faculty regarding Design Thinking.
Presentation OutlineBelow is a description of what I verbally explained during our professional development presentation to accompany the power point.

Project ReflectionAfter the project was completed, I had a chance to reflect on Design Thinking, implementing the lesson as well as the professional development presentation.

Power Point
This was the powerpoint used for the professional development presentation. Included are only the slides that I presented on (my lesson plan and how it broke down into the Design Thinking components).
Videos of the Theatre class at Eastern Tech
Before enacting my Design Thinking Lesson, I went down to the theatre class at Eastern Tech and asked if I could record some of the students speaking Spanish (premade scripts that I had made) explaining that they needed the help of my Spanish 3 classes. Below are the two recorded videos.

Student Work
Here are some examples of students working on various parts of the Teatro Sobre Problemas de Eastern Tech. Students had free reign over the usage of Eastern Techs Makerspace: a space designed for lessons such as these. In the Makerspace there are 3D printers, white boards, collaboration oriented chairs and tables, a room full of arts and crafts, sewing machines, and various other tools.
