What is the Validated Practices Project?
During our high school rotation in our semester long internship, Towson University interns created and implemented our own SLO's involving standards that we felt our classes needed work on. For my class, I focused on interpretive reading. Please see the sections below to understand what each of the SLO's were, the class information, and my own analysis and reflection of the project.
Class PortfolioThis document describes the class that I was working with for the SLO.
Project NarrativeThis document describes the project as a whole in details.
VPP Alignment TableThis document describes how each of the lessons I created after the pre-assessment align with the skill I wanted to teach (interpretive reading).
Score AnalysisBelow is the excel spreadsheet describing the scores for the class.

Pre-AssessmentThis document was the pre-assessment used to establish the skill level that students had before lessons began targeting my SLO.
Post-AssessmentThis document was the post-assessment used to see whether I had done my job or not in teaching the specific skill of interpretive reading.
